The university IPADS (Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa) has been listed as the best or one of the best business schools in Latin America for years in the ranking of BusinessWeek. The university has in addition to their central campus in Mexico City - a historic hacienda converted to the highest international standards - further campuses in Mexico.
During the annual International Week America about 550 MBA students discuss current issues from business and science in classroom lessons, plenary lectures and small group events. In addition to the students from the IPADE (Mexico DF, Guadalajara and Monterrey) and the NORDAKADEMIE Graduate School also students participate in the International Week America from UNIS (Guatemala City, Guatemala), INALDE (Bogota, Colombia), Instituto de Estudios Empresariales (Montevideo, Uruguay ), Universidad de Piura (Lima, Peru), Universidad Austral (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Northeastern University (Boston, USA), Boise State University (Idaho, USA), Northern Kentucky University (Kentucky, USA), Rollins College (Florida , USA), the Richard Ivey School of Business (Ontario, Canada) and of the Rotterdam School of Management (Netherlands).
The academic programme is complemented by inter-university visits to selected companies, cultural events and various other activities of students in this city with almost 30 million inhabitants.
